Welcome
Harrow & Wealdstone Swimming Club was formed in 1977 as an amalgamation of Harrow Swimming Club and Wealdstone Swimming Club and is affiliated to the London Region which is a semi autonomous region of the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA). The Club is divided into three main sections: Learn to Swim Competitive Squads Masters The Club actively encourages family involvement and there are various fund raising and social activities throughout the year which are great fun and help promote a good club atmosphere. Club Championships are held for the competitive squads annually. Whatever your own personal goals or ambitions it is our hope that, together with our expertise and your determination, we can achieve them.
It's headquarters are at the Harrow Leisure Centre, Christchurch Avenue, Harrow. It caters for swimmers of all ages and abilities from beginners to international standards and all the categories in between.
Swimming brings fitness and an enjoyment for life and it is the Club's aim to help all members achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

Olympic Trials
Carmella Kitching and Kyle Barrett were in explosive form in the Olympic Trials which doubled as the British Championships in Sheffield this week with Carmella posting fantastic pbs in the breastroke events, swimming 1.15 for her 100m breastroke and 2.41 in the 200m event and Kyle swimming a good 100m backstroke.
Claudia Kitching attained her breastroke national times at the recent Sheffield meet with times which would have also qualified her for the Olympic Trials and ranked her first in the programme in her year group.
Meanwhile closer to home, congratulations to the following swimmers who have been awarded Middlesex trophies for topping their age groups at the recent Middlesex Swimming Championships:

Frankie Collen (15) 2nd freestyle (sprint)
Roxanne Bevan (16) 1st fly, 3rd freestyle (distance), 3rd IM
