The Club encourages family involvement and there are various fund raising and social activities throughout the year.  Club Championships are held for the Competitive squads annually.  Whatever your goals or ambitions it is the Clubs hope that, together with our expertise and your determination, we can achieve them. An Executive Committee who are made up of volunteers, elected annually at the AGM runs the Club.  The Executive Committee appoints the Head Coach (Bill Stokes), Head Coach – Juniors (Gill Muir), Club Administrator (Janine Nyman) and Welfare Officer (Paul Donlevey)

Learn to Swim

These classes take place at Harrow Leisure Centre Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.  They are 30 minutes long for the beginner (aged 5 years and over) through to those wishing to improve their strokes to join the competitive squads.  There are also 40-minute lessons for older swimmers on Wednesday evenings and adults on Monday & Wednesday evenings.

Competitive Squads

Competitive Squads begin with those moving up from the learn to swim through to those who are working towards County / Southern

County and National qualifying times. Training takes place at Harrow Leisure Centre Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday mornings and every weekday evening throughout the week.  Children are placed in Squads according to their age and ability.  A condition of Squad membership is that, if selected for a gala, you do your utmost to attend and are in full Club kit.  All Squad members are expected to take part in the Club Championships held annually in September.

Masters

The Masters section is for adults whose swimming is more advanced and requires swimming coaching rather than teaching.  There are various competitions that Masters can take part in throughout the year.
